EOSPACE specializes in developing technology using the highest performance electro-optical integrated circuits and components, integrated into experiments to push the boundaries of next-generation photonic systems. Our research team develops state-of-the-art photonic technology, which is always evolving with ongoing research that is often developed for very demanding aerospace applications requiring a high-frequency microwave and photonic fiber-optic transmission.
High-speed modulation is often a key part of our work here, but we have many ongoing projects that involve research into novel designs integrating photonics and modulators, pushing limits for research including optical signal processing, spectral analysis and stabilization, and material processing techniques.
Responsibilities will include:
Independently and collaboratively work on multiple research projects.
Document and report on research results regularly.
Collaborate with our diverse team of engineers to develop custom designs.
Ph.D. in electrical engineering, physics, or other related fields.
Experience with lasers, photonics, or electro-optic devices.
Some Matlab, LabVIEW, or C++/C# programming experience a plus.
Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
